Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) Organic Essential Oil

Peppermint is another of our most popular oils.  It is cooling and refreshing.  It provides immune support, is analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, and antioxidant.  Our organic oil is distilled from the plant's leaves in Australia.  Peppermint oil is uplifting, refreshing, and sweetly minty.  A few drops are a must in any diffusion blend when you want to be inspired and energized.  Peppermint is often used in foot creams, scrubs and soaks to help relieve tired, sore and swollen feet.  It is used for headache pain, and nausea.  We use it in many of our green cleaning supplies, and in some of our lip balms.  However, Peppermint can cause skin irritation so be sure to dilute it when using topically, and do not use on young children or on pets.  As with other strong oils, a little goes a long way!  That said, Peppermint is an oil that should be in every essential oil collection.
