Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) Wild Crafted Essential Oil

This wild crafted Myrrh essential oil was steam distilled from resin and gum in Somalia. As you can see from the picture, these trees are strong survivors in a less than hospitable climate.  Myrrh is antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and decongestant. It is also very effective in the treatment of skin issues and wounds.  It is generally skin nourishing and in oil blends and diffusions it can produce feelings of calmness and wellbeing.  I like to diffuse it when I meditate to help ground and to better connect with spiritual thoughts.  There is a reason the Kings carried this as a gift to the baby in the manger.
